The weather in Maui really can’t be beat. The sun shines nearly everyday of the year, the temperature is a perfect 86 degrees, the water is warm and the tradewinds blow to cool down the heat that accumulates from being in the sun all day. Besides the elements and the beauty of the nature it possess, it is filled with Aloha. It is beautiful. No wonder it is the number one destination for Hawaii weddings.
One of the most popular venues that the island offers sits in the tiny community of Olowalu. The historical Plantation House sits right next to the ocean with it’s sprawling lawn and gorgeous mature trees is a perfect place to say I do. This is where Northern Californians, Nicole and Jason chose to hold their wedding with nearest in dearest in attendance. The couple turned to Fay Hovey of Aloha Maui Weddings to help them create the perfect day.
So many loving details went into the day…the color palette of pink, white and gray really set the tone for a lovely calm day. Flowers adorned many surfaces, the tables, aisle chairs, the ceremony arch and more. Guests walked in to the sweet little table to find their seats and write a message for the happy couple in the sign in book.
The bridesmaids wore Haku Leis of tiny flowers while they carried rose filled bouquets down the aisle. Nicole and Jason’s Baby daughter acted as the flower girl without throwing one petal. Nicole was a classically beautiful bride in her lace gown, cathedral veil and pearl necklace.
Jason looked amazing in his grey suit and brown leather loafers…giving Don Draper a run for his money as what a suave man looks like. He and his bride exchanged loving messages before meeting at the aisle. With his groomsmen by his side, Jason made his way to the alter to wait for his wife to be.
Dapper men…Jason and his boys looking good! His handsome father taught him well.
Stunning floral design, like an English Garden was transported to Maui for the day. Love the rustic little flower boxes for the centerpieces.
It’s moments like these that make photography so special, capturing this image of a little girl so excited to see her daddy melts my heart.
Once the ceremony was complete and their vows were sealed with a kiss, it was time to get the celebration started! And what a celebration it was filled with smiles, cocktails, laughter, love, food, toasts, more laughter, sunset, cake and dancing the night away! Congratulations to Nicole and Jason, may your sweet family have many days together filled with all of the above and more!
