Lush green mountains, striking vistas and clear blue seas are just a few things to feast your eyes on in the small town of Hana. Filled with so much beauty and aloha, we don’t just love it here because it’s our home, we love it because of the magic it possesses.
Aubrey and Conor realized just how special Hāna is when they decided to host their wedding here, inviting just 30 guests to celebrate with them. Once they connected with Andrea Rodriguez of Hana Wedding Company, it all fell together to create a perfect weekend filled with culinary treats, equine wedding crashers, loads of laughter and a double rainbow to bless the joining of two souls as beautiful as the bride and groom.
Words from the bride…
We also had such a positive experience with Kaua and his assistant, Kevin, who were like the ninjas of wedding photography – I never noticed them but we always had a sense they were creeping around among the best moments, which they very much were. They caught little moments we thought were completely unnoticed, but were also front and center for the most amazing gift of the day, a double rainbow over the ocean! Of course our friends were blown away and had to quote the famous youtube video, clutching their cocktails and yelling to the blue sky, “What does it mean?!!!” The moment was one of pure joy, not just because we were able to silently acknowledge the beautiful blessing we had just received from the incredible Hana, but also because we were all sharing it together – it was one of those moments you would never be able to describe with enough magic to do it sufficient justice. Kaua and Kevin were funny, fast, and so incredibly talented – they even came equipped with treats and a sense of humor to keep the flower girl and ring bearer engaged and smiling for the camera! The photos are phenomenal, and the hardest part is knowing where to begin with what to print because each moment they captured is a total gem!
